The Junction Park State School (JPSS) Parents and Citizens' (P&C) association works in productive partnership with the JPSS school principal and the community to promote the interests of the school. The P&C also facilitates the school's development and further improvement to achieve the best possible outcomes for students.
The P&C provides feedback and advice on school policies and activities and assists in providing resources to enhance student outcomes. The P&C is also involved in various school activities, including:
- Fundraising - i.e. Fete, Mothers and Fathers Day Stalls, Trivia Night, Election Day Bake and BBQ Stall
- Tuckshop
- Uniform Shop, and
- outside school hours care (OSHC) services.
Meetings
JPSS P&C Meetings are held in the school Library or via Zoom (Meeting ID - 378 779 1912) on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, commencing at 7.00 pm.
Meetings are not held during holidays.
Membership
A person must apply for membership in the P&C by completing and submitting an Application for Membership Form.
Members must also comply with the Code of Conduct for P&C Associations.

Legislation
The P&C is established under the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006 and the Education (General Provisions) Regulation 2017.
Queensland P&Cs is a statutory body under the Statutory Bodies Financial Arrangements Act 1982. P&Cs are not incorporated entities under the Associations Incorporations Act 1981.
