This year's Carols around the Campfire was the best yet! A big crowd of JPSS
families & friends turned out to celebrate Christmas, listen to our
incredible School choir lead us in singing both old and new
Christmas carols, toast marshmallows over our Campfire, and eat a
stunning banquet of international food prepared by Junction Park
families. We ate Persian, Greek, Vietnamese, Japanese and Indian food,
and ate freshly shucked oysters on the oval! A big thanks goes out to
the JPSS School choir, the Tran family, Sam & Yoriko and family, the Ahlatis family, the Paulos family, Azra and family, David and Nalini Kumar, Steph Renton, Leanne Spiegel, the Jeffreys family, the Henry family, Gina Do and family, and our resident oyster shucker Glen Nielsen! Also thanks to support from local businesses - IGA Greenslopes, Annerley Caltex, Oztix, Olympus Cheese, Annerley McDonalds, and the Gabba Fruit Market. Together we had an amazing time, and raised $4500 for Chaplaincy at Junction Park. Well done! Many hugs and much love to Grant and Mrs Hodgson for organising this great event to get us into the festive spirit.
