Boombah! was amazing. What a wonderful spectacular of colour, laughter, music and joy! The sense of community could be felt by all who attended with everyone keen to lend a hand and enjoy the fun of the day. Thank you to Leanne Spiegel who has done a fabulous job organizing this event. Enormous thanks also to John Rowe, our favourite Grandfather who calmly organised the facilities and electrical side of the event. Thank you to all the stall convenors and helpers who have spent months planning. Thank you to our P&C Executive who missed some of the fun by taking care of the financial side. Thank you to everyone who was involved - who helped set up and take down, who baked, sewed, planted........ and of course thank you to our teachers and students who provided the entertainment. Thank you to our Music Support Group, Music teachers, Ms Harle and Mrs Hodgson who despite a nasty bug was here to lead the choirs and to Mrs Watson, Nickole and Soraya who provided the colour and style! Thank you to Grant, Kev and Chris for the great sound, to Busty for her amazing compering and of course our home grown talent, The Parentals who had the crowd dancing.
We are always seeking feedback on how to make our events and activities even better. So while the Fete is fresh in everyone's minds, please email Christine - firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what you think worked really well, ideas to make it even better and any thoughts about a 2016 theme. We are always looking at ways to harness more volunteers, so if anyone has great ideas about organising classes, stalls and parents we would love to hear them. If you are missing any items, the school office has a small amount of lost property and containers that were used to transport home baked items can be collected from the tuckshop.
