Japanese Peace Poster Competition

In September this year, our year 5 and 6 students learned about Peace day in Japan and also participated in the National Peace Poster competition. Students created beautiful posters with messages for world peace and learned how to write the Japanese word for Peace in Kanji.

Some of our students were talented and lucky enough to be awarded a “special commendation” for their efforts and received certificates and a small prize for their efforts on parade last week. Congratulations to all students who entered the competition and especially to Alice. R, Freya. R, Sulaxon. P and Nabeel. A and Scarlett. W, Coopah. D, Poppy. K-P, Clare O, Ruby M and Charlotte B.
