Active School Travel

11/02/2015
Our first Active School Travel event for 2015 was a huge success this morning. Over 25 Prep families joined us in the Prep Walking Bus from the Dudley Street Coffee Shop to our school.

This is a great opportunity to travel actively to school, reduce the number of cars and their emissions around school zones and to make new friends.

Thank you to Councillor Nicole Johnson for shouting the coffees for the lucky first 30 Prep parents. Please join in the fun of Walking Wheeling Wednesday and think about how your family can travel actively to school.

If you have any creative ideas or would like to give us some feedback about our Active School Travel program, please email Christine Wood at cwood19@eq.edu.au.
Each child in the school has an Active School Travel Passport where stamps are collected for travelling actively to school. Prizes are awarded for collecting these stamps.
