ANZAC Ceremony

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Annerley Community Observance of ANZAC Day on Monday 25 April, 2016. We had over 60 students in attendance as well as parents, staff and past students all marching behind our school's banner. It was another great show of community spirit.

Our school's ANZAC Commemoration was held on Thursday 21 April in the front garden on Waldheim Street. Thank you to Year 3T, our Eco Captains and Trinity's Grandfather Ray for making this area look so special. Our Captains led the ceremony with performances from the Senior Choir, our Strings and Year 5 playing the recorder and singing Amazing Grace. Each class created and laid a wreath and Mr Diachoff from the Stephens Branch of the RSL addressed our school. We had a special guest, Courtney Smith from the Conservatorium of Music play the Last Post  - an outstanding performance.

Many thanks to Jane J, Tomoko B, Nastran S, Soraya D, Jill, Karen M, Tracey C, Sefo J, and Aisi A for the beautiful wreaths hand made for these ceremonies.
